Innovation at the Cutting Edge

In September 2019, the 2019-20 cohort of the Clinical Innovation Program started their journey to learn about the innovative medtech process. They were organized into multidisplinary teams and were tasked with studying the clinical environments to identify unmet clinical needs. Once a need was identified, the teams proposed solutions and developed prototypes and business plans to advance their concept.

Young entrepreneurs with a mission

Making surgical treatments and procedures more effective is the common goal of the Injury Repair Recovery (IRR) Program at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC). Researchers in this program have a proven track record of translating research into innovative products through start-ups, spin-offs and partnerships with external companies.
